Electronics & Computer Science Graduate
MEng, University of Edinburgh • Upper 2:1
MEng Electronics and Computer Science graduate from the University of Edinburgh with hands-on experience across electronic circuit design, PCB development, embedded systems, FPGA-based digital design and data analysis. I enjoy taking technical work from simulation and design through physical build, testing and interpretation, and I have experience communicating complex ideas in research, engineering and peer-learning environments.
Altium, LTspice/PSpice, circuit design, PCB development
STM32, STM32CubeIDE, FPGA, hardware/software integration
Python, R, C, Java, MATLAB, data analysis and visualisation
School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh | Sep 2024 - May 2026
Analysed longitudinal UK survey data to investigate mental-health trajectories and relationships with sociodemographic variables. Conducted data wrangling, statistical modelling and visualisation using R and Python, contributing analysis to a co-authored research preprint published in 2026.
Edinburgh University Students' Association | Sep 2025 - May 2026
Led peer-assisted learning sessions for engineering students, facilitating collaborative problem-solving and communicating technical concepts to students with different levels of understanding.
China Railway Construction Co., Ltd. | Jul 2024 - Sep 2024
Interpreted engineering drawings and technical information while supporting project development and maintenance activities in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
University of Edinburgh | Jul 2024
Presented interdisciplinary work on AI translation mechanisms and transnational communication at an event spanning Informatics, Engineering and Social Sciences.
Edinburgh University Students' Association | 2022 - 2023
Supported international student engagement and communication through the University's Global Buddies programme.
Designed and simulated circuitry for an optical-fibre receiver, developed the PCB, and progressed the design through physical construction and laboratory testing. Integrated an audio amplifier with the receiver system and tested the completed hardware.
Completed practical FPGA-based digital design work, including implementation and testing of an LED-control application.
Used STM32 and STM32CubeIDE in embedded-systems laboratory work and applied circuit simulation tools across electronics design tasks, combining software development with hardware-level testing.
Analysed longitudinal UK survey data to study mental-health trajectories and sociodemographic relationships, contributing analytical work to a co-authored 2026 research preprint.
Developed a pizza delivery application interfacing with REST APIs for order processing and drone delivery management, including validation logic and flight-path optimisation.
I'm currently exploring graduate opportunities across electronics, embedded systems, data and technology-focused roles in the UK.
